Airport Arrival Procedure & Charges
Westchester Taxi & Limo
For pre-arranged airport arrivals, the following procedures will apply.
Cancellation Policy
We understand your travel plans may change, and other circumstances may arise. With that in mind, Westchester Taxi and Limousine has a very simple cancellation policy:
- International Flights: Inform us at least 4 hours ahead of time for cancellations or changes.
- Domestic Flights: Inform us at least 2 hours ahead of time for cancellations or changes.
- Cancellation within 4 hours: If a cancellation is made less than 4 hours prior to the reservation time, you will be charged half the fare cost.
- No-Show: If no cancellation is made and you are a “no-show,” the full fare will be charged. A “No show” is defined as when the passenger does not show up at the pickup location without prior cancellation or contact with our office.
No-Show Charge
A passenger will be considered a “no-show” if they fail to call Westchester Taxi and Limousine within 30 minutes after arrival and no cancellation has been recorded. We will attempt to contact the passenger. If the passenger verifies the no-show, the driver will leave and the passenger will be billed. The charge for a no-show will be the full fare.
Waiting Time at Airports – Commercial Flights
- Domestic Flights: 30 minutes of waiting time included.
- International Flights: 45 minutes of waiting time included.
After the grace period, waiting time charges will apply: - $25 for the first 30 minutes
- $50 for each additional hour.
Waiting Time at Residential, Business, and Other Commercial Locations
- Grace Period: 15 minutes included waiting time from the scheduled pickup time.
- After the grace period, waiting time is calculated in 15-minute intervals, with a charge of $10 per 15 minutes.
Parking Fee
All pre-arranged inside pick-ups will incur an additional parking fee.
Additional Passenger Charge
- $10 per additional passenger for sedan reservations.
- Children under the age of 7 are free.
Additional Stops
Charges for additional stops are generally $10-$50 depending on the distance.
- Stops within the same suburban town: $10-$50
- Stops in other towns: $30-$60
- Stops within NYC: $15-$60
- Stops in another county/borough: Charges are based on actual service distance.
Early Morning Surcharge
Trips scheduled for pickup between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM incur an additional fee of $10-$40, which goes entirely to the chauffeur.
Holiday Surcharge
Trips on the following holidays incur an additional $20 flat fee, paid to the chauffeur:
- Christmas Eve (starting at 5 PM)
- Christmas Day
- Easter Sunday
- New Year’s Eve (starting at 5 PM)
- New Year’s Day
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
Chauffeur Gratuity
A 20% gratuity is mandatory for all services.
Round Trip Tolls
All toll charges will be billed round-trip where applicable (Effective January 2024).
Liability
The company is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdowns and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. The passenger assumes full financial liability for any damage to the vehicle caused during the trip.
- $100 fee for each carpet or seat burn.
- $250 sanitation fee.
Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol consumption and drug use are prohibited by law. The customer is responsible for any damages or fines incurred.
Food Consumption
Food consumption is not permitted in our vehicles. The customer will pay for any damages or fines incurred.
Driver’s Right to Terminate Run
The driver has the right to terminate the run without refund if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the passenger(s).
Luggage Fee
- Extra luggage will incur an additional $15 charge.
- Maximum of 1 additional bag or carry-on. Any extra luggage will require a vehicle upgrade to accommodate.
No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles.
Winter Weather
We are not responsible for delays or termination due to unsafe road conditions caused by winter weather (e.g., un-salted roads, accidents).
Lost Articles
We are not responsible for any articles left in the vehicles.
Car Seat
A car seat can be provided upon request for an additional fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to install the car seat properly. The passenger waives any claims against the company for injury, loss, or damage related to the car seat.
Discounts and Promotions
All discount promotions from our website or social media cannot be combined with other offers and are not valid with prior services.
